 Welcome Message From

Shecba Stanley, LCSW, QS

Greetings.. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support you on your journey towards healing and self development. As a licensed therapist with extensive experience, I bring a wealth of expertise and compassion to our therapeutic relationship. I specialize in working with both adults and children between the ages of 8 years old and up. I have honed my skills in tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of individuals across different life stages and experiences. Whether you're an adult seeking personal growth, or a parent concerned about your child's emotional well-being, I am here to provide the guidance and support you need.

I specialize in the areas of depression, anxiety, anger management, and  trauma recovery. I understand the profound impact that traumatic experiences can have on individuals and families. I help clients process their trauma, build resilience, and reclaim their lives.

I provide a safe space for open communication, conflict resolution, and strengthening bonds. Together we navigate mental and emotional challenges.

My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative. I believe in creating a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where you can openly share your thoughts and feelings. I value your unique experiences and perspectives, and together, we will work towards achieving your therapeutic goals.

I continuously strive to expand my knowledge and stay up-to-date with the latest  therapeutic techniques. By attending workshops, trainings, and engaging in ongoing professional development, I ensure that I provide you with the most effective and evidence-based therapy.

I want you to know that you're not alone on this journey. I am here to walk alongside you, providing guidance, encouragement, and support every step of the way. Together, we will create a therapeutic space where healing and growth can flourish.

Thank you for trusting Healthy Transitions Counseling and Wellness.

About
01.

In individual therapy, I offer a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Individual therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to address the challenges you're facing. After completion of an in depth assessment of  your symptoms and concerns, we will work together to develop therapeutic goals. Together, we will explore the underlying factors contributing to your difficulties and develop effective strategies to overcome them.

I am pleased to offer clinical supervision services to support and guide fellow professionals on their path to becoming licensed therapists. With extensive experience and expertise. I provide an enriching environment for clinical supervision ensuring that supervisees receive the guidance and mentorship they need to develop their clinical and  ethical  skills.  Although we provide tools, techniques and learning opportunities, clinical supervision services does not guarantee a supervisees passing on the LCSW exam.

We are working diligently to provide new services to those who service our community. Peer support for Mental Health Professionals experiencing anxiety, imposter syndrome, and work stressors will soon be available. Also, we are establishing a support network for our First Responders to ensure they have a safe space to connect, share their experiences and provide support for one another. Peer support is not therapy however, it does provide emotional support, education and fosters lifelong learning and personal growth.
